Pachira aquatica

Long considered a powerful symbol of good luck and prosperity, the Braided Money Tree, is actually a type of Bonsai. It’s name derives from the symbolism of the braided trunk, symbolizing the intertwining of wealth and good fortune.

Also commonly known as the Pachira plant, it is extremely resilient and easy to care for. It thrives in bright indirect light, and prefers to have its soil dry out before watering. Money Trees are non-toxic to pets and are very effective air purifiers. They make wonderful housewarming gifts

Kokedamas are an ancient form of Japanese Bonsai that dates to around 1600 AD. These living planters are made with moss, soil, twine, and a plant. They have a sunny disposition and are low maintenance.

Use a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly. Stop fertilizing during the winter when plant growth slows.

Kokedama plants come as shown, wrapped in moss , in your choice of a small terra cotta tray in either Tray for Basic Planter, Grey Patina or Tray for Basic Planter, White Patina.

Please note that the kokedamas you receive may be smaller and less mature than the ones photographed. They will be eager for growth in their new home!

All Kokedamas are non-returnable / non-refundable / not eligible for discounts.

Not that great
Huge "The Simpsons" fan. I watched all the episodes and read a lot of the comics and enjoy most. This one however was quite boring. Turns out I'm just not a big fan of Chief Wiggum. I really enjoyed The "Homer" and "Bart" book. But not this one. Maybe if you love Wiggum you'll love it. If you're not too fond of him then I wouldn't buy it.

Good for my collection.
Format: Hardcover
This was another quick and entertaining read. This instalment wasn't as enjoyable as some of the other books but it was still good. I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Wonderful classic
Format: Board book
This book challenges the assumption that more is better, bringing back memories of my own easy-going childhood. Ezra Keats is remarkable in his ability to create a story that so many people can relate too and the books illustrations also manage to pull you back into your own childhood memories and moments of wonder at snow. His artwork is spare yet the pictures burst with brilliant color and expression. In many of the pictures, Peter lacks facial features except his eyes, but Keats manages, with the angle of his head and the composition, to convey feeling. The text, similarly economical, is made up of just enough words to tell the story -- none of them too hard for a young reader to sound out or for a young listener to understand -- and they are vivid words used powerfully, often rhyming or repeating. The result is that kids (and parents too!) can settle into Peter's snowy world. A bonus in this sparkling story is the African-American main character -- an all-too-rare occurrence, still, in children's literature. I try to expose my child to a diverse array of characters in his story books and am still left disheartened when I return from the book store because, unfortunately there really are too few choices that are quality stories that both the adult and child can enjoy reading. This is one of those books. The story is engaging and still simple enough that a child can follow along.
